Product and Installation Disclaimer

This Product and Installation Disclaimer applies to all lighting products sold by Zorexil, including chandeliers, pendant lights, wall lights, and related lighting products.

Product Information

Zorexil makes reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, dimensions, photographs, finishes, materials, specifications, and compatibility information accurately.

However, customers should review all information displayed on the applicable product page before purchasing. Product appearance may vary slightly because of lighting conditions, screen settings, manufacturing variations, photography, and differences in materials or finishes.

Customers are responsible for confirming that a product’s dimensions, voltage, mounting requirements, bulb requirements, location rating, and other specifications are suitable for their intended use before placing an order or beginning installation.

Installation Responsibility

Lighting products must be installed correctly and used only for their intended purpose.

Hardwired, ceiling-mounted, wall-mounted, or otherwise permanently installed lighting products should be installed by a qualified and appropriately licensed electrician or other qualified professional where required.

Customers and installers must:

  • Review all product information and installation instructions before beginning
  • Confirm compatibility with the property’s electrical system and supply voltage
  • Disconnect electrical power before installation, inspection, maintenance, or removal
  • Confirm that the mounting surface and supporting structure are suitable for the product
  • Use appropriate mounting hardware and electrical components
  • Follow applicable building, electrical, fire-safety, and other local requirements
  • Use the product only in locations for which it is rated
  • Follow any instructions supplied with the product

Customers should not attempt an installation that requires electrical, structural, or technical work beyond their knowledge or qualifications.

Structural and Electrical Suitability

Before installation, the customer or installer must confirm that the ceiling, wall, electrical box, mounting point, wiring, and surrounding area can safely support and operate the product.

Zorexil does not inspect the customer’s property, wiring, electrical system, mounting surface, or installation location. Product suitability therefore depends on conditions that Zorexil cannot independently verify.

Additional reinforcement, mounting components, electrical components, or professional work may be required depending on the property and installation location.

Indoor and Outdoor Use

A product should be installed outdoors, in a bathroom, in a damp location, or in a wet location only when the applicable product information specifically identifies it as suitable for that environment.

Do not assume that a lighting product is suitable for outdoor, damp, or wet conditions unless the product information expressly states that rating.

Bulbs and Electrical Components

Customers must use bulbs and electrical components that comply with the specifications stated on the product page, product label, packaging, or installation instructions.

Do not exceed the stated maximum wattage or use incompatible bulbs, dimmers, transformers, drivers, switches, wiring, or electrical supplies.

Bulbs or accessories should not be assumed to be included unless the applicable product page expressly states that they are included.

Product Modification

Altering, rewiring, cutting, drilling, adapting, disassembling, or otherwise modifying a product may affect its operation and safety.

Zorexil is not responsible, to the extent permitted by applicable law, for problems caused by:

  • Improper installation or assembly
  • Installation by an unqualified person
  • Use contrary to product instructions or specifications
  • Use with incompatible electrical components
  • Installation on an unsuitable structure or mounting surface
  • Unauthorized modification or repair
  • Misuse, neglect, or damage occurring after delivery
  • Failure to comply with applicable safety or legal requirements

Inspection Before Installation

Customers and installers should inspect the product promptly after delivery and before installation.

If a product appears damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, do not install or use it. Contact Zorexil at info@zorexil.com and include the order number, a description of the issue, and relevant photographs when available.

Installing, modifying, or discarding the packaging of a visibly damaged or incorrect product may make it more difficult to evaluate the issue.

Professional Advice

Information provided by Zorexil is general product information and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified electrician, contractor, engineer, building professional, or other appropriately qualified professional who can evaluate the intended installation location.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude, restrict, or replace any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
